Koileki • Timor-Leste
Timor-Leste is one of the world's youngest countries, having only existed since 2002. Coffee is quickly becoming the most important export commodity for the small nation as its working towards economic and social stability.
This coffee comes from the Atsabe Wet Mill, founded in 2018 near the Koileki Village in collaboration with Raw Material Coffee. Cherries are collected daily from the farms around the wet mill. This is a very high growing coffee from the Ermera region of Timor-Leste. It has a beautiful balance of the earthy spice notes that Asian coffees are known for, with the fruitiness of a high altitude coffee.
