Cascavel Vermelha means red rattlesnake in Portugese. It's named from the rattlesnakes that live in and around the coffee farms in Sul de Minas. The snake has a bad reputation, but plays an important part in the ecosystem. It hunts and eats mice and other rodents that otherwise would burrow tunnels and ruin the root systems of the coffee trees.
This coffee is a blend from various farms in the region, sorted and selected for fruity and bright flavours.
