We've selected our certified organic Capucas as one of our two christmas coffees this year. We've roasted it a little bit darker for the holiday season, making it a smooth, full-bodied experience that will pair perfectly with sweet christmas pastries.
From the Cooperativa Cafetalera Capucas Limitada, or COCAFCAL for short. It's a cooperative in Honduras focused on education and supporting farmers. Started by Omar Rodríguez Interiano in 1999 the cooperative today has over 700 members. They're pioneering organic coffee production in the area of Las Capucas and are involved in many community projects. They are working to create a sustainable future for coffee farming by managing resources and sharing information freely.
