El Desvelado • Colombia

El Desvelado can be translated to the sleepless, or the watchful. It's a blended coffee from several smallholders in the Consaco-area of Narino. The steep and difficult terrain makes for excellent quality coffees, but also means most coffee producers have small farms and low yields. To make the coffee commercially viable they need largers lots, so it makes sense for the farmers to partner together instead of struggling on their own. This blend is made together with the cooperative Cafe Occidente and features the juiciest and most floral coffees from the producers in this region.
