This gem of a coffee comes from the Kigari Teachers College in Kenya, a school that also engages in the growing and processing of coffee. They have their own factory for processing, and they keep livestock such as cows to produce organic fertilizer. They believe in supporting young people in coffee production and are very open-minded to new techniques and practices.
Kenya is a rockstar in the coffee world, known for producing some of the fruitiest and most intense coffee available. The combination of nutrient rich soil, knowledgable farmers, high quality processing and the famous SL28 and SL34 varietals give complex, fruity and very intense flavours that's hard to find from any other coffee origin.
